The founder and CEO of the company, Aleksandr Konotopski, was awarded the entrepreneur of the year by Forbes in Ukraine in 2021. It is known that in the war-torn country, Ajax Systems completely restored the current production and development of products in Ukraine, actively recruited specialists for the plant and expanded its R&D team. Turkey’s respect for Ukraine’s territorial integrity has not changed since 2014, when Donbas and Crimea were occupied. The relations developed between the two countries, the signed Free Trade Agreement, the Kyiv Administration and the messages that the people of Ukraine are always on their side have led to a positive increase in the perception of Turkey in the country. Collaborations in the defense industry and successful experiences of UAVs and SİHAs, especially Bayraktar, also increase the interest in Turkey in Ukraine. Ajax’s investment in technology is an indicator of this. With all these good relations, the number of Ukrainian companies operating in Turkey is expected to increase.
